Justin had to do a history project for school and of course he had chosen Evel Knievel and he has worked so hard and has learned so much more, which we thought that he knew everything. In his project he had to make a display board containing facts and pictures of his life. We were so amazed that he could remember dates (month, date and the year), me on the other hand could only remeber the day he died because it was the day that Baylee was born and remember breaking the bad news to him while we were walking in the halls of the hospital when I was in labor. WHEW!!!! Then he had to dress up as him and have a button, we forgot to come up with a button and believe it Jake came up with the best button the night before it was due, it was supposed to be nothing fancy but Jake went all out, he designed this button that actually had an on and off switch and it really rang. When we dropped Justin off for school that day he whipped it out of his backpack and was showing all his friends. It does Jake good when his kids are so proud of him and how he can come up with some great ideas in a moments notice. Then he had to pretend that he was in a wax museum and parents, teachers, classmates would go around and push the button and they would have to say a fact about them. They had to memorize 12 facts, I had no idea that a second grader could memorize that much! WHEW!!! We are so proud of you Justin. You worked so hard and did a lot of research. Thanks to everyone that helped with his costume. He Loved it!!! In fact he didn't take it off until the next day. (I forgot to take a picture with him sleeping in it)
