Baylee finally had her tonsils and adenoids and one of her tubes fixed today. Because of her age they told us that she would have to stay the night. She woke up from surgery screaming her head off. She was so strong that we could not hold her down, she was rolling like a crocodile. Finally she calmed down and went back to sleep. By 11PM she was asking to eat, she ate so much food we could not believe it. After she ate she decided that she did not want to stay in bed. She took over the nurses station and was running through the halls. By 2AM she would not go to sleep. We had come to the conclusion that she has an adverse affect to pain medicine, instead of making her tired it makes her hyper. Brandon has the same problem. The nurses came in and told us that the Dr. had ok'd her to go home since she wasn't sleeping and was fine as far as her vitals were. The rest is history. After a few days she was outside playing smelling her flowers. She never acted like she had had surgery. When Brandon and Justin and I had our tonsils out it was weeks before we got out of bed. I would recommend having this done the earlier age the better recovery.
